I became a hypnotherapist in 2016, as hypnotherapy helped me overcome many adversities in my own life, and I wanted to be able to provide these incredible benefits to others.

In 2010 I was drinking excessively (at least 1 bottle of wine per night), I smoked, I was overweight at 110 kilos, I was epileptic, and suffered very badly from depression. I was taking 5 anti-convulsants and 2 anti-depressants, but despite this, I was still having seizures and was still very, very depressed. 

I had a weight reduction operation that same year, thinking that the reason I was depressed was because I was obese. This, however, was not the case, and my depression only got worse. In 2014 I had an event which changed my life forever.

After this event, I decided that I needed to come off all of the medication as it was not serving me at all. With the help of a naturopath and GP, I successfully did this over 9 months.

While I was moving in the right direction, I was still depressed. A good friend suggested that I try hypnotherapy, and I was open to giving it a go. It changed my life. Hypnotherapy gave me the tools and skills I needed so that I could release all the negative chatter going around in my head. I knew I needed to share this with others.

I completed my Practitioner of Hypnotherapy certification in 2016, and have since completed my Master Practitioner of Hypnotherapy, Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Master Practitioner of Timeline Transformations and Life Coaching. 

Before I became a hypnotherapist, I was a trainer and facilitator for many years working in leadership positions in companies like Optus, Vodafone and Ticketek. I also worked at the Nuclear Reactor, ANSTO for 8 years in a Human Resources capacity. 

I have my Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment, Diploma of Training Design and Development, Diploma of Vocational Education and Training, Diploma of Leadership, Advanced Diploma of Leadership, Certificate IV in Work Health Safety and Diploma of Work Health Safety.

I am also a proud mother of two boys, and we live in the heart of Cronulla in the Sutherland Shire.

The mind plays a major role in addictive behaviour, which is why hypnotherapy can be so successful in removing addictions. Hypnotherapy goes straight to the part of the mind that keeps the addiction in place, enabling you to change the “program” in your mind. You first changed the program when you started developing an addiction, and now you can change it back again to end this addiction forever.
